Why we built this
Most people buying an intimate product for the first time are not actually worried about the product. They are worried about the shop. Whether the box says something on the outside. Whether the checkout is safe. Whether the photographs are about to make them feel like they walked into the wrong place.
That is the problem Wetritual was built around. Not a bigger catalogue. A calmer one.
How we decide what goes in the store
We keep the list short on purpose, and every product has to clear the same three tests.
It has to come from a maker that stands behind it. The brands here are the ones that publish what their products are made of, honour a warranty, and ship firmware fixes when something needs fixing. We-Vibe, Womanizer, Dame, Arcwave, ROMP, b-Vibe, Aneros, njoy and others in that tier.
We have to be able to tell you what it is made of. Non-porous materials like medical grade silicone, borosilicate glass and stainless steel can be cleaned properly and last for years. Porous materials cannot, and they have a shelf life measured in months. Both have their place. What is not acceptable is a listing that hides which one you are buying, so ours do not.
It has to earn its place. Nothing is here because it is easy to stock. If two products do the same thing and one does it better, we carry the better one and skip the other.
What discreet actually means here
Discreet is a word every store in this category uses and almost none of them explain, so here is ours in plain terms.
- Your order arrives in a plain outer box. No brand name, no product name, no images and no category description anywhere on the outside.
- No email we send you names a product in the subject line.
- We do not sell, rent or share your order history. Not to a data broker, not to anyone.
- Nothing you buy affects what you see on this site later in a way anyone else could read over your shoulder.
What we will not do
This category runs on pressure, and we would rather not.
- No invented reviews. Reviews come from real orders. Where a product has none yet, the page shows none.
- No countdown timers and no fake stock warnings. If something is low, it is low. If it is not, we will not pretend.
- No email wall. You can browse the whole store and use Help Me Choose without giving us an address.
- No pretending to be a clinic. We sell products and we write honestly about them. We are not doctors and we will not dress up as any.
The guidance is free and it is meant to be used
The most useful thing we make is not a product. Expert Advice is where we write down what a knowledgeable friend would tell you, including the parts a retailer usually leaves out, like which material quietly fails after a year and which feature you will use twice and never again.
If you would rather not read anything, Help Me Choose asks two questions and hands you a short list instead of a catalogue.
Who runs it
Wetritual is operated by TONYTWO LLC, a registered company in the United States. It is a small operation, which is the reason a real person reads every message that comes in rather than a queue, usually the same day and always within one business day.
If something arrives wrong, or does not arrive, write to connect@wetritual.com and say what happened. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
Where to start
If you already know roughly what you want, Vibrators, For Him and Couples Play are the three biggest rooms in the store. If you do not, start with Help Me Choose or read Expert Advice first. Either way, nothing here is going to rush you.
